After that, he accepted a job at WALB in Albany, GA, then moved on to Knoxville, TN prior to returning home to Atlanta.
Beesley has chased more than 30 tornadoes, including the tornado outbreak on April 27, 2011, in addition to his career as an on-air meteorologist. Moreover, he goes around to schools in north Georgia teaching students about weather, storm chasing, and what it’s like to be a broadcast meteorologist.
During his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his family and doing anything outdoors. Some of his favorite hobbies are hiking, grilling, fishing, and golfing.
